I grew up in a big family where I got used to be always surrounded by people. Sometimes, though, I enjoy some time for myself.

I am on open minded person and I am always interested in getting to know new people, who can have very fascinating thoughts to share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good way to travel alone without feeling too lonely, getting in touch with locals that can teach how to enjoy the place the most and to meet likeminded people.

Interests

I am passionate about the environment and sustainability related issues.
I love cooking and eating, of course. Rather than looking up for recipes, I prefer to get inspiration from other people, from whom I learnt new combinations and to use new ingredients.
I enjoy doing sport, such as running, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, dance, yoga, pilates. In the Netherlands I cycle a lot, as the bike is my means of transport (when I am too tired to do anything I count it as a sport activity).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to vary and listen to different kinds of music, depending on the mood. Just to give an idea, I will mention some artists:
Alt-j, Tame Impala, Parov Stelar, Supertramp, Jaar, Einaudi, Gogo Penguin.

Every time I have to think about a nice movie I watched I struggle. Not because I don't watch them, I really enjoy watching movies, but I tend not to watch the same movie several times, unless there is a special reason. Among the ones that I can now recall there are Amélie, moonrise kingdom, the great lebowski, The Motorcycle Diaries.

The same happens for books, let's just mention some: Peter Pan, Into the wild, Siddharta.
