I am Helen, originally from Hamburg but now living in Leipzig to study Psychology there. I really like traveling (what a surprise :D ) and to get to know new people. My favourite way of traveling is hitchhiking because like that you always get to know the locals. That's also why I'm on Couchsurfing, to get to know people from everywhere around the world.

Getting to know locals is so much more interesting than being in a hostel where there are only tourists. I don’t really see the point in going to a place without learning about the people who live there.
