我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Mainly to meet locals, as its hard to stay in the van in the city without paying big bucks for expensive tourist campsites. Its hard to have a real local experience at these places! I've done some volunteering/ workaways while Ive been travelling but its hard to meet people my age (43) at these places coz mostly people just out of school.

兴趣

I'm studying for a doctorate in documentary video. I love travelling and meeting new people especially other travellers and locals. I'm travelling in my campervan this year researching old travel writing from a library that was to be thrown out and filming at locations mentioned in these books (www.thelfttlibrary.com).

Yes! All kinds of music, but like jazzy stuff, latin, african beats, old fifties jazz and contemporary prog rock. Also dance music. Films I like; foreign, wacky, experimental, funny.

I'm not at home at the moment since I'm travelling but next year will be able to offer a bed and/or show travellers around my home town of Cork.
