CURRENT MISSION

Since I am on a one-semester exchange program in Germany, my aim is to travel around at least 15 countries in Europe during this 5 months!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Shanghai, China. Before I went to university, I seldom travelled because of the miserable life of most of the Chinese students. Then I was admitted by a Hongkong university, then my happy life began! Cz Hongkong has more opportunities to the international communications and exchanges, so I take the chance to travel and have been deeply obsessed with the feeling of wandering around a foreign land with different views and different people. Maybe I am not so talkative but I'm always curious about everything and willing to try new things. Architecture is my major also my major interest. Seeing with my own eyes and entering the interior of great architectures is the best way to experience the beauty of architecture. It's also one of the reason why I love traveling.

My first couch surfing experience. My friends found the host before we went to Vienna. I recommended couch surfing to her. After the first experience, we both agreed that it was great because the host was a very nice student in Vienna University. Then we continued and found another host in Basel......

well, I used to read a lot. Why I said 'used to'... because since I took on architectural studies, I seldom have time to read. I almost only read fictions. When I was in middle schools I liked very serious ones, like Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Charlotte Bronte, etc. Notre Dame de Paris is still my favorite. But then I started to be obsessed with detectives. I've read and watched some books and films of Agatha Christine and Sherlock Holmes, but my favorite is the Japanese writer Keigo Higashino. Besides, I also like Murakami Haruki... I have great interests in Japanese films and literature.

Can this be called 'amazing'? I once shook hands with Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, when I was in the chancellery on the German government opening day.
