HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newbie! Planning a trip to Canada for 6 months this year so will be looking for some hosts along the way. Once I'm back in the UK with my own place I will be happy to host weary travellers in London!

Interests

I like meeting up with friends (and new people!), eating out (and eating in - i love food!), and having a good time! I love international film - studied a lot of French and German film at university. Also love nature and am hoping to spend a lot of time in the fresh air in Canada!

Music, Movies, and Books

Gahhh i hate this question. So many and I can never think what to say.

BUT

I love all kinds of music. But at the moment I'm loving Bon Iver, Local Natives, Paul Kalkbrenner, Alt-J, Frank Ocean, The Black Keys, Ben Howard, James Blake and LOADS more including some dirty in da club dance music.

Movie wise.. I like loads of weird avant garde French movies, German movies that I studied at university. I also love Finding Nemo, Die Hard, Juno, most Terry Gilliam movies, Avatar, The Shawshank Redemption, Anchorman loads more... (again a mix of everything!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling through Central America and going caving through miles of pitch black cave - seeing ancient ruins from the Mayan times and even a preserved skeleton thousands of years old!

Partying in Berlin all night and watching the sun come up.

Sitting on top of a temple in the middle of the jungle.
