About Me

Herro! I'm Helen, 34, and always thought I had a problem with Germany, my home country. Then I started travelling and had to realise how much I love and miss sausages and potatoes, freedom, the seasons, provoking grumpy old people, free education, cats acting like humans, humans acting like cats, equal rights, chocolate, my friends and family, cheap booze and techno parties. After all, Berlin is the best city in the world.

This is my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/not.just.a.pretty.place/

PHILOSOPHY: Live and let live.
I'm not interested in amassing money or riches - I want to experience and to learn as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always keen on meeting people that are in love with politics / economics, Berghain-ish techno, travelling... or whatever makes your world go round. I might show you around in some districts off the tourist track - if you like and I've got the time. Have a look at my little list of sights if our schedules don't match: http://goo.gl/wQ1Mfa

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on floors all over the world. It started with the floors of friends of friends of friends - but wound up as official Couchsurfing.

Some people consider me a nerd, no idea why: http://goo.gl/9OQn9w

I met Csaba who was new to Couchsurfing in Budapest to have fun, introduce him to hitch-hiking and write him a first reference. One month later, he had permanently left Budapest to hitch-hike to Australia. You go, boy!
