About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is too short not to enjoy yourself

ABOUT ME

I have spent many years finding reasons to put off travelling. At the ripe old age of 28 I finally bit the bullet and haven't regretted a moment of it. In fact I've questioned how come it took me so long! On my round the world trip I'm seeing so many amazing places and meeting so many amazing people.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live each day as it comes and not plan too far into the future, after all you never know what may happen. I also aim to enjoy myself as much as possible and not worry about the little things in life, or the things you can't change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm a couch surfer as I'm travelling. This is my introduction to the CS2 project and I think it is an amazing concept. What a great way to meet like minded people and get a personal insight into places you visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is wonderful to come across such generosity, be it someone's time to help you out, being invited to dinner, or being lent a bike. And of course the initial offer of a couch.

Interests

I particluarly like being active and testing my boundaries. It is this that has encouraged me to do a sky dive, caving, canyoning and ice climbing whilst travelling in New Zealand. Other favourites include horsing riding (I currently own a horse called Trouble who definitely lives up to his name) and when I get the chance netball.

I also like reading, I read the whole range from philosophy to the trashy stuff. I find it's a great way to lose yourself for a couple of hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like anything that makes me laugh, be it a film, book or music. I also like crime or mystery, its always a challenge to solve it myself before the conclusion.
