Hi y'all! :) My name is Helena. I have lived in Germany, Mexico, Spain, and the UK, where I completed my studies and worked for a while. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. Learning about different cultures, people's backgrounds, and habits has given me the chance to reflect on my own habits, adapt to different environments, and challenge my way of living to improve constantly. Following this idea, I sought opportunities in multicultural settings and worked on different projects in the mental health, educational, and research fields within Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and South America.
Currently, I am training as a clinical psychologist and work in research. I am fluent in three languages and enjoy teaching languages, dancing, working out, and exploring nature. I describe myself as a happy, open-minded and social person and am very excited to exchange cultures and languages to seek new challenges to step out of my comfort zone!

I am very happy to meet people from all over the world, learn from their experiences and views of life, and exchange ideas. I am convinced this helps to stay open-minded and adaptive. While traveling, exchanging with locals enables me to get a unique perspective on the culture of the place I visit, the hidden places, and build cross-cultural connections :)
