I am Helena from Germany. My current mission is to see something new every day. After i finished my A-levels i travel to the canaries and decided to live there for a half year. And bevor I start studying I need to see more. I get inspired by the diversity of people and other cultures. Thankfully I discovered Couchsurfing wich combine all advantages I could ask for. I am always down for good Coffee, delicious food, good music, deep conversations at 2 am, all kinds of activities an a movie night.

I love music! In the morning I start with classic I like fore example Edvard Grieg, J.S. Bach, and F. Chopin. I got a big selection of Hip Hop, Rap Music and some R&B (I got tickets for a Tyga concert, I am so excited!). I also like Jazz, Folk and Funk. Some Rock Music is also part of my preferred playlist. At home I got a vinyl record collection with hundreds of different artist.

I really don’t know where i shut start. I don’t prefer a specific genre. It’s easier to tell what I don’t like: that’s for example trash comedy or really disturbing horror movies. For the rest, I give it a shot. My friends don’t share my enthusiasm in political satire but in the last ten years I got a bit obsessed with it. If you feel powerless sometimes the only way to not get bitter is by making some sarcastic jokes.

My taste in books is changing all the time. But my all time favorite is Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter. I like some philosophy as well and I try to read Horváth, Kafka, Tucholsky, Hemingway, Thomas Mann, Brecht, Hesse, Schiller. Sometimes I read the whole book within a short time and sometimes I just finished the first chapter. I am a big fan of the greek mythology I red the odyssey and the ilias at least ten times.

I chanted with Buddhists, saw stunning art and architecture at the Biennale in Venice, climbed a mountain while a thunderstorm , jumped from a cliff (never again) sang in a Jazz Bar and got haunted by a cow ( it was more terrifying than you can imagine )

I am a really good cook. I got basic knowledge in Yoga. I know a lot about the power of medicinal herbs ( I cured nearly every of my little diseases with Tee and stuff like that), I try to help you with everything if you let me. In a nur Shell, I would love to share everything, just ask!
