ABOUT ME

Hi! :) My name is Helena, I live in Prague, Czech Republic where I am working as an English and French teacher at a secondary school. I started teaching last September, so I am still new to almost everything but hopefully, I'll get better over the years.. :)
I consider myself as an easy-going, trustworthy, open-minded and reliable person who loves working with children, learning foreign languages, travelling and meeting new people all around the world. :)

Don't dream your life, live your dream!
Smile does not cost you anything but is worth so much! Smile even at strangers and make the world a better place! (at least a little bit) :)
Nothing's ever gonna just come to you by itself, you have to make efforts and deserve it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have tried couchsurfing with my friends in Spain, Ireland and France and everytime it was an amazing experience for me because I love meeting new people and getting to know their culture and habits. :)
Moreover, me and my sister have hosted a few travellers in our home in Prague.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving my home country for a year and moving to France to pursue a Service Civique (which so far has been a great experience!).
Deciding to work as an au-pair in Spain without the knowledge of a single word of Spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some simple words of Czech (even though I warn you in advance that Czech is really complicated :-D) and tell you something about our culture and habits. I can also share with you my travelling and au-pair experience, stories and adventures . I can't say what exactly we are going to learn from each other but mainly I would like us to share our opinions, discuss and broaden our horizons.
