Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It would be nice connecting with people again and exploring different perspectives and experiences of life. I have been very self focused the last 2 years and have been keeping to myself a lot of the time.
I believe putting yourself out there is the first step to discovering something new and amazing. Some of my favourite people I met when I gave myself the opportunity to be vulnerable and experience something I wasn’t sure about and didn’t know I needed at the time, until I looked back and realised it was some of the best memories I’ve made.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Any and all music, R&B, pop, folk, jazz, blues, rock, reggae…—anything that makes you feel things only music can make you feel
Movies - I enjoy all genres and always alternate what I currently watch, although mostly action, romance, thrillers and comedy
Books - well there is one book in particular ‘The Elegant Universe’ which gave me a sense of enlightenment when first read

I pushed myself to say ‘yes’ to things that scared me —— and it led me to places, people and growth I couldn’t have dreamed of
