Just another broke student who loves to travel :-)

I was born in Amsterdam and spent the first 6 years of my life there. Since then, I have gone back and forth between Oslo and Houston, both of which I consider to be my hometowns. I have therefore been exposed to travel since an early age, which has engendered my deep love of adventure and meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

Philosophy:
#1 "It's okay to change you mind" - I hate dogmatic arguments; we are supposed to change our views/mindsets as we experience new things and grow and learn.
#2 "Seek discomfort" - step outside of your comfort zone; try new things.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

The reason I'm on Couchsurfing is because it's a great way to get to know locals and not be stuck in the "tourist bubble" - which I love, because it is experiencing new cultures which is my favorite part about traveling. I'm also quite an outgoing person and just love meeting new people and having interesting discussions about life and death and everything in between, which CS is great for.

• Movies - I have a theory that all the best movies were made in the 80’s (with some exceptions)
• Books - I just love the classics

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach about the Norwegian and American cultures (the languages, customs, and food).
I absolutely LOVE learning about different cultures and trying new things (cultural foods, different languages, music, customs, etc).
