About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try to establish a home where I can host surfers
ABOUT ME
My name is Helene, I'm a very positive and humorous person, I'm easy-going, structured and considered. I'm studying at Copenhagen Business School - and I'm in love with Copenhagen! The spirit and the heartbeat of that city; oh how I miss it when I'm not home!
PHILOSOPHY
I am aware that I'm a very privileged person and therefore I feel obligated to make the most out of my life. My sister always says "chose the paths in life that lead to the best stories" - I'm trying to do just that, collecting good stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Usually when I travel I stay at hostels; I like that I can chose to hang out if I feel like it, or withdraw and relax in the dorm. Therefore I also enjoy staying at peoples places without having them to entertain me all the time - I don't mind at all coming up with a schedule myself, but I don't mind having company either - a combination seems perfect to me!
I've hosted some international friends at my place in Copenhagen, and I love showing foreigners "my" Copenhagen - especially during spring and summer!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have quite a network of international friends and I have hosted several of them when life leads them to Copenhagen. I just recently (officially) joined Couchsurfing so I haven't had any official guests.
Interests
Love hiking, enjoy nature, love cooking (all kinds of food - Middle-eastern is a favorite), cultures, love singing and music experiences, traveling (big surprise!).

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very broad music taste! Kings of Leon, KT Tunstall, Little Dragon, Enya, Foo Fighters, Pink, Tina Dickow (Danish musician - look her up if you don't know her!) - love music, love singing!
Movies: Denmark has a lot of very good film makers, but I also enjoy many foreign movies - ever seen "The Band's Visit"? A Swiss friend of mine introduced it to me, and it's so sweet and funny and perfect. Totally recommend it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Pyramids at dawn!
Standing looking at the red mountains in Sedona covered in snow!
