About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the Norwegian nature, read good books, meet kind people, learn to fish! and a lot of other stuff. Wanna join?
ABOUT ME
I appreciate both nature and culture, company and being alone. I love good talks about things that mean something to you and to learn about different cultures and their customs.
PHILOSOPHY
Listen to yourself. It will bring you to know yourself.
Do what you want, not what others expect of you.
Learn how to be alone. Then find good people to be around.
Read books. They'll put things in perspective, find words for you that you need, calm you, provoke you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm planning on traveling around Norway during this summer (2013). I'd especially like to see northern Norway. So let me know if you have a free couch sometime during the summer! :)
I'd love to meet other locals here i Bergen or people who are just here for a visit.
I might have a free couch later this year when I feel a bit home here myself. I need to talk to the girls I live with about if/how we should host people, though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed one couch in Bergen while I was looking for a more permanent place to stay. It was a good experience. I enjoyed the fact that me and my host could both make things together, do nothing/relax together and do things for ourselves.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love love love books. I've worked part time in a bookstore for three years and know quiet alot about books. I've read a lot of books during the past years, mostly fiction. I enjoy reading Knut Hamsun, Roberto Bolano, Jón Kalman Stefansson, Simone de Beauvoir, and lots and lots of others!
Music: I like different kinds of music. However, when I'm alone I always end up putting on some quiet old music - Nina Simone, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell and so on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I did was river rafting in Panama. The amazing thing about it wasnt the wild tides and the action. It was actually the moment we got off the raft and into the water and just flood a long way where the river was still. I just felt totally happiness, was flooding on my back, looking up into the sky, and just laughing, laughing, laughing!
Another amazing thing I've seen is the night sky in Death Valley, US. All those millions of stars! Being there! Never seen so many stars in my life.
I guess what I'm doing right now is amazing too. I've been moving to Bergen without knowing anyone here. Been here for two weeks know, have found a small room, beginning to get to know with the city and some folks here, and I'm looking forward to see where it all gets me:)
Teach, Learn, Share
I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN FISHING! I know that Norway is the perfect country for fishing - but honestly, I don't have the slightest idea of how you catch a fish. But I wanna learn it, so it would be so cool if you have both a couch and a fishing rod and we could go fish!:)
Generally I'll love to learn more hiking and other outdoor experience. Dunno how much really there is to learn but I'd just like to be with people who have done a lot of that and know to do stuff and what to wear and what to bring and what kind of tent is the best and stuff like that - oh, I must sound like an idiot. I don't actually imagine myself being so bad at such kind of stuff - I just need someone to tell me how to do :D
I'm pretty good at cooking easy but nice food. I know quiet alot about books. I've taken some writing and journalism courses, so I know stuff about that too.
