Hello, I am Olena, and I am from Ukraine. I like travelling, reading books, listening to music and singing. Also, I like pets. I'm in my fourth year of biology, and I'm due to get my bachelor's degree this year.

Due to the full-scale invasion of Russia into my country, my university made an agreement thanks to which some students could go to study at the University of Toronto in Canada, and I am among them.
Now I am studying and participating in various events to support Ukraine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went hiking in the Carpathian Mountains and swam in a mountain river, which was very cold.
I worked at Mcdonald's for half a year. It was a fun experience:)

I could prepare something from Ukrainian national cuisine and tell you more about Ukrainian culture and my experience studying at the University of Toronto. I also would like to learn more about the hosts' countries and backgrounds.
