CURRENT MISSION

I am a critical care nurse part time and a high school teacher full time ( homeschool) but this is my last year of teaching High school. I may teach nursing at Liberty University but I haven't made up my mind yet!

ABOUT ME

Love camping, backpacking, kayaking, snow skiing, people, travel, teaching science (particularly marine biology, physics, anatomy and physiology) and nursing students.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a conservative Christian that loves God and all of God's people. I want to have quality time with people, get to know them. Through my backpacking experiences, I loved the places the most where I made a people connection and saw the local life...not the tourist life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son told me all about it and his experiences in Austria. When I was in college, I backpacked all over Europe..this is just the next generation of that!

Romantic, sappy British movies, action movies that have humor,comedies and some sci-fi. Music: Most everything...classical, rock, country, Jazz, blues, some rap, fav has to be unplugged guitar and instruments that you play around a campfire

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anytime I am outside in nature...it is awesome. Sometimes that is just my back yard. Lately, I have put a bird feeder on my kitchen door with titanium on the whole window so I can be inches away from the wild birds...they are so funny and each one has its own personality. I am starting to give them names! hahaha
