I'm a musician, I sing, play bass, and can noodle on guitar and piano. I'm learning about recording and hope to produce music someday, other people's and my own.

I really like music. I like playing music with people. I like food, and cooking food with friends, and then sitting around and playing music together. I like hiking, and swimming, and also food. And playing music, and eating good food, with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had an account for a few years, but I've only couchsurfed once before, at the house that ended up being my home for the next year. It was a great experience, I met folks that I'm still friends with today. Now I'm doing some travelling again, and I hope to have more good experiences like the last one!

Music: brass bands, drums you can dance to, kickass singers, etc.

Books: some authors I like are David James Duncan, Mark Helprin, Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, Barbara Kingsolver...

Also, not a book, but Sun Magazine is awesome. I read it every month.
