When a student, I participated in 5 international volunteer youth camps. They all took place in Germany as German was my 3rd language. Thus practicing the language was one of my goals. But in those camps I gained much more than this. I learned there are lots of wonderful people with warm hearts and beautiful minds. I discovered we all are alike despite our nationalities, religions, and way of living. I found out there is much interesting every culture can offer us besides historic buildings and pieces of art. And, finally, I realised I'm proud to be Russian :)
