Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a box watcher but do love the odd film here and there. Enjoy a lot by Cohen Brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Werner Herzog . Westerns, old black and white films on a rainy day.

Love live music, dancing to reggae, deep dubby bass.. Got a soft spot for Scotish folk, Americana, do love a good waltz, mountain music.. Piano, mazurkas, tango, bit of jazz and of course the blues. World music, some electronic music. 4 Tet, Bicep.. Old music, new music. Great lyrics, like Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen et al totally my thing.

Like to read but go through phases when I read loads and times when don't read much at all. Enjoy fiction, poetic prose. Tom Robbins is good fun, historical stuff, magic realism, travel writing, fairy tales... Currently loving Scottish writer James Robertson.

Teach, Learn, Share

Language is a beautiful thing to share, as are stories, tea and beer. Sometimes all at once!
