Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To learn to cook the perfect pizza
ABOUT ME
Once upon a time I bought a one-way ticket to Bangkok and I fell in love with wandering around and simultaneously fell off any kind of career track.
I spent 2 years training with the US National team in the obscure (in the US anyway) olympic sport of Team Handball. We traveled and competed in Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, France, Germany, Holland and the DR. We frequently lost and were always poor, but it was still a cool experience.
I've spent the last 2 years playing semi-professionally in la France. I learned some franglais, how to cook things from scratch, and how to fix/repair anything w/ glue and a Swiss Army knife.
PHILOSOPHY
No emmental cheese on pizza!

Algo increíble que he hecho
The most amazing thing I've done was a 2 day dive cruise near the Similan Islands in the Andaman Ocean off the west coast of Thailand. The water was so clear it was hardly like I was underwater at all. When I saw my first leopard shark my heart skipped. And then I saw another, and another and I have no idea if I even saw anything else as I was so enraptured and terrified at the same time.
It was also pretty cool lining up for the opening ceremonies of the 2005 Pan-Am championships with a USA jersey on my back and then playing Brazil in front of 10,000 screaming and dancing Brazilian fans.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
There are tons of things I want to learn: how to surf, how to dance (tango maybe?), martial arts (isshyn-ryu perhaps, but I haven't settled upon a style), how to play the guitar, how to make the perfect pizza (i'm off to a decent start.. need to modify my oven!), how to speak spanish, how to spin fire poi, etc.
I am a computer geek so I guess I can teach something there. I am also pretty handy... I've convinced my friends here that I can fix anything. That is probably an exaggeration but I do have a good sense of how things work. And I'd be happy to share most all my recipes, except the top-secret family chocolate chip cookie recipe! You'll have to marry me to find out. But salsas, tortillas and especially my alcohol infusions are all up for discussion!
