Hello, I'm Helgi, I'm from Russia, St.Petersburg (city of three revolutions, cultural capital of my country). I'm musician and I playing the tenor-saxophone in big jazz orchestra "Saxophones of St.Petersburg"(in my language "Saxophony Sankt-Peterburga"). So, I'm singing, playing sax and russian folk instrument - jaleika in farce-punk-rock band "Garlic Kings". Sometimes I take part in student-riots. I work in bars, play and sing rock hits of 60'. I'm in with love ska, reggae, jazz 30' and rock'n'roll. In 2011 I started sailing. St.Petersburg is marine city, and it is wonderful place for training. Now, unfortunetlyI, I don't sail. I finished my study in music college and now - I'm playing music everywhere!

books: Russian classic! I realy love Tolstoy, Dostoevcky, Pushkin, Lermontov, Turgenev! And I like writers-anarchists: Kropotkin, Bakunin, Prudon. but I also like the other authors: Hemingway, H.S. Thompson, Washington Irving and some popular science: Dawkins, Hawking, Sagan and others.

My punk rock band - this is unusual! We have a Russian folk instruments, saxophone, accordion, bagpipe, banjo, and all it together sounds very interesting! And I'll never forget my first time in the open sea under sail!
