ABOUT ME

I do writing, makings things, singing, daydreaming, teaching and doing other work. Cleaning up my house, messing up my house, opening too many tabs on the internet, inventing types of tea to try and cure a cold or a headache, planning to be better, failing to be much better but sometimes learning something and being a little bit less worse.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to try and avoid the banal use of the word philosophy to describe anything from cliches, platitudes and passing whims to something you read on the back of a packet of custard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've mostly hosted people but I have also couchsurfed myself in a few places. I have always met really interesting people who are open and receptive to others. I have come back to this network again and again because it is really valuable.

The last film i saw was NOT 'shortbus'. I shouldn't have put something that I have to change.. I'm not even sure now what the last film I saw was. I'm going to a play, The Seagull, next week though. I've done it again.

Dylan Thomas wrote very good poems. Angela Carter wrote stories you can touch with your own hot hands. Kafka couldn't write plots: one of literature's most fascinating accidents. Tom Waits makes music with true atmosphere. Chopin made reason enough in itself for playing the piano. Shakespeare set a standard for the written word. Socrates is an argument against anyone who shys away from argument.
