I try to use my free time to learn new skills :) pottery, climbing, Tai Chi...
I love learning things. I'm not good with history or geography, I'd rather learn it with speaking with natives. I am engineer in Chemical Engineering and Environment, and I'm doing a PhD thesis for 3 years about environmental issues (soil contamination). Besides that I have a huge curiosity for arts. All kind.
I do not like sports (especially, I dislike sitting on a couch looking at people doing sport), but I like running in a forest, swimming in the sea, climbing a tree or a mountain.
I dislike people who are not able to handle their waste (at least to the next bin). Others are ok I think.
I just want to live in a better world. So I build it.
I don't want to ignore and forget things which are sad or wrong. I try to help people when I can.
I don't eat a lot of meat because I regret intensive farming. I'd rather eat organic food when I can, local, and taste is even better.
I don't think there is a god but I understand people who needs one.
Everyone is different and its gonna be difficult but we should try to get use to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think it's a great project, it built the world where I'm happy to live. I do not consider CS as a way to get easy-sex, as more and more people seem to.The idea to share experiences and help travelers is the important thing to me. I do not host people who do not put effort in their writing.
I mostly host.
Environment, Art, design, architecture, theater, books, movies, short movies, cooking, nature, music, sciences, dance, languages ...
Music, Movies, and Books
So many that there is no point to begin to list them actually.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming naked into phophorescent plakton one beautiful and magical night with friends, flashes of lightnings on the skyline,... In Brittany. My region is wonderful :)
Bathing in Greenland, in a lake in the wild, in the "morning".
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking :) The thing I do like the most in cooking is learning new recipes from people. And eating them (hum... the dishes, not the people) straight after.
Tales. From the beginning I like stories, listening and telling them.
