Hello!!

What about me? I am a 23 years old girl, but I guess what characterizes me the most is multiculturalism. I am half Czech and half French, so my house has always been a melting pot of languages, under the sign of tolerance. Travelling and learning languages truly shaped who I am.. the reason why I'm using Couchsurfing to perpetuate this experience.

But so what do I do with my life?? Shortly... I lived for 18 years in Prague and then moved to Paris where I completed a degree in History and the Russian language. I had the chance to go to a University Erasmus exchange to Oslo (it was the best!!). I am now on a gap year in Greece before taking my master's degree. In Athens, I have been volunteering in an NGO focusing on people with mental illnesses as a social worker. I would love to share more on my experience in this little box but it would ruin the conversations we could have in real life about it haha.

During my free time, I listen to music. All the time. My love language is basically making playlists and I would like to learn how to DJ. I also love to go to the beach as I don't have this beautiful opportunity back home in Prague. Other than that, I love to watch criminal documentaries on netflix but don't worry I'm not a freak.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I love the most about Couchsurfing is meeting new people and various cultures. Travelling abroad just feels really different and better when being around locals. In addition, I love to meet people who have a story to tell, and it keeps on inspiring me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my taste in music is pretty eclectic, from bossa nova to house, funk, jazz and even some commercial tunes.. I just listen to what makes me feel myself.

My favourite book is Everything I know about love by Dolly Alderton, which is an autobiography dealing about any kind of love one experiences throughout the years, and the patterns that go with it.

My favourite series is 100% Sense8. I mean, if you have seen it, I don't even need to explain why.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year during the peak of the pandemic and thus the lack of aeroplanes (and money), I went back home from Oslo to Prague with a truck driver. It was the best three days, we took the boat, stopped at the sea and we still remain friends.
