Made in a part of China where no one else is from there. Currently a sophomore in UC Berkeley studying cognitive science and Environment Economics and policy. Always excited about new adventures. Always ready for something refreshing to blow my mind.

PHILOSOPHY

You didn't have a bike when you were 6; you have 10 BMWS when your 40; you still didn't have a bike when you were 6.

I have surfed several times and will be able to host from next semester.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed several times during the winter and I had an enjoyable time with my hosts. I am going to have my own apartment next semester and look forward to hosting the visitors to bay area!

So far i am in a social fraternity, school's snowboarding club, and fencing club.

I am trying to run 5 miles everyday and it is going well so far.

Huge far for museums, all types of museums, since i feel visiting museums is one of the most efficient way for me to learn.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I've read massively when i was younger, right now my favorite one is a Chinese Nobel prize winner's book called Frog.
Recently addicted to horror movies... even i got scared a lot...
And i have a kind of bizarre music taste: i like country, indie, and reggae.
More than welcome to judge my music taste, but you have to tell me why :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

skydiving, shot gun a beer in 3 seconds.
I come from the farthest city from the ocean in the world . It was a very exotic place in China and had very diverse population . Going to school with students from over 12 different ethnicity groups definitely makes me an open-minded and accepting person. It was a great experience.

Also coming to US for my college education when I'm 19 is something amazing in my life :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I used to volunteer teaching Chinese to some minorities' kids from the rural area of China, also I am applying a program to do the volunteer in Africa. Currently involved in a volunteer group fighting for poverty and homelessness. I feel ashamed of myself when I know I have the ability to help people who need help but I don't.
