About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the city, friends, simple things and share my experience as a long time traveler

ABOUT ME

Easy going person, I enjoy simple things, like hanging out with friends, a bbq, a good match of soccer, listening to music and, when i can, cook a nice meal.

I am a big fan of good food and a good wine just to chill and have a nice conversation. I think cooking might be a good way to interact with other people and have a good time.

Love to travel and discover new places. I am also very curious about meeting people from different countries and cultures, and that think different than me, I found that process to be enriching.

As a surfer, I try to share my hosts type of life and embrace part of their culture, learn more about their lives and share part of mine as well, so we can have good interaction and maybe learn from each other. If the possibility exists, I like to prepare a meal also. I am very clean and worried about leaving my space as it was provided, so hosts shouldnt worry about that aspect.

PHILOSOPHY

Just be open, sincere and respectful of others and work hard to follow your dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently in a place able to host people. Available to meet up, help with tips about the city and any other info. Hosting will depend on my time schedule and of course the request from fellow travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started through friends hosting and meeting people traveling in Chile who were staying at their places.

Now I have been lucky to surf and meet amazing new people in Greece, middle east and India. Have been lucky to host people from different places and got to make new friends.

Interests

Hobbies include football, cooking, food & wine culture and yoga and biking as sports.

Traveling and meeting new people and cultures. It has become a big part of my life since my first experience working and traveling in New Zealand in 2008.

I enjoy good music and a good pint of beer over a nice conversations.

Work related, i'm a financial engineer so i enjoy economic topics and reading macroeconomics articles when I can, although is not a frequent topic of conversation lol.

I enjoy lots of types of music and a lot of different bands, but to narrow it, i'm more into the indie rock scenery. Glen Hansard, Band of Horses, Arctic Monkeys, Beirut, Radiohead..

Movies: Gotta say I love comedies, it is always my first choice, but i like dramas and indie movies also. Pirate Radio, Once and Into the Wild come to mind, but there are too many.
