ABOUT ME

Here I am, a Swede living in the picturesque city of Bergen on the Norwegian west coast. I have traveled a fair bit and I miss it every day, but I also feel I'm somehow enjoying being a part of the student community. For a little while. I won't stop traveling. And I think I'm also realizing that traveling and meeting other travelers isn't something you do or don't, it's a way of life. It's more of an attitude than a status.

I'm an independent, down-to-earth, easy-going person trying to blaze my trail through this life. I'm an active person, love being a part of nature and to feel the freedom of activities such as surfing and running.

I try to spread good energy when I meet other people.

I like
- exploring the wild and unknown
- listening and sharing music, from rock/pop to relaxing piano music
- the simple habit just to eat when I'm hungry, sleep when I'm tired

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done a lot of unofficial Couchsurfing I guess, but have surfed a couple of couches through CS in Norway, Canada, Costa Rica and Peru so far. I've definitely been enjoying myself and my company. Every (couch)surf experience is different (as every wave of the ocean) and unique in a way and that's what's so great about this project.

I like to play the guitar and to jam with others. When i listen to others playing there is a whole lot to it..
indie music, alternative, sometimes 60s, 70s rock, relaxing piano music, sometimes I'm up for dub and reagge as well. Love to get new influences and share music with people. Not a fan of hip-hop, RnB, techno, soul and that kind of stuff.

Movies: Don't generally fancy brain-dead Hollywood stuff and (therefore) I'm not the frequent visitor to the cinema.
Although a few good movies are Into the Wild, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Science of Sleep, Shawshank Redemption, Being John Malkovich, the Pursuit of Happyness, Endless Summer 1 & 2 and Step into Liquid.

Books on people doing what they love, books about the nature and people living in it.

Biking the coast of Norway and Lofoten Islands, all the way north of the Arctic circle.
Surviving Chinese 14-hour-hard-seat-trains with Salmonella in my stomach.
The art of surfing waves never seizes to amaze me.

I'm open to most things that goes around my eyes and ears I believe. Guitar jamming. I could cook up a rather delicious Asian wok. I like to learn new languages.
