Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. - Currently living in Northern Colorado, Fort Collins to be exact. I work as a community planner, helping communities create their long term growth/development strategies and comprehensive plans.

I love traveling but I’ve yet to leave the United States, except for a resort in Mexico and the Bahamas when I was young. I have a dog named Louie and I’m interested in experiencing new things and places.

Several friends have shared their great experiences with couchsurfing so I want to give it a try instead of the plain and boring hotel chains. The free aspect is really nice but I'm more interested in getting immersed into the culture of other cities and countries instead of spending downtime in a cookie-cutter hotel.
