关于我
I guess the short version is I got hooked on travel pretty early. When I was 17 I watched *Into the Wild*, and yeah… that really did something to me. I read the book right after and got a bit obsessed with the idea of just getting out into the world, chasing experiences, meeting people, and figuring things out as I go. It basically became a bit of a personal bible for me.
One quote from it that always stuck with me is: “happiness is only real when shared.” I don’t fully agree with it, I think you can definitely find peace and happiness in solitude too, and I actually enjoy that side of things as well. But I’ve realized that a lot of the time it’s not just about what you do, it’s about who you share it with. And I think that’s a big part of why I love meeting people so much.
As soon as I finished high school, I left Germany and went to Australia and I never really moved back. Since then I’ve been bouncing around a bit, living in places like New Zealand, Vietnam, and the Netherlands, and traveling through a bunch of countries across Europe, Asia, and South America. Somewhere along the way (or basically immediately) I fell in love with backpacking. I think it’s the freedom, the spontaneity, and all the random people you meet along the way.
I’d like to think that I am a pretty chill guy and spend a fair amount of time outdoors: surfing, snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving, road trips, that kind of stuff. But I also really enjoy the simple things. Honestly, my three favorite things in life are human connection, music, and fooooood. A good meal, some music, and interesting people around a table somewhere, that’s my happy place.
Some of my best memories are just random moments: hitchhiking with no real plan, cooking with people in hostels, playing guitar (not amazingly by the way), or staying up way too late having conversations with people I met that same day.
I’m easygoing and open-minded, always happy to share stories, cook together, go on a little adventure, or just hang out. For me Couchsurfing is exactly that: meeting good people and sharing a small part of life together.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing was never really just about finding a free place to stay. It’s more about the people and the kind of experiences you don’t get any other way.
I love those moments where you meet someone who was a complete stranger a few hours ago, and suddenly you’re sharing stories, cooking together, or just talking about life like you’ve known each other for years. That’s what makes traveling feel real to me.
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to connect with people in a more genuine way, not just passing through a place, but actually experiencing it through the people who live there. Whether it’s sharing a meal, going on a small adventure, or just hanging out after a long day, those are always the moments I remember most.
And whenever I can, I’d love to give that same experience back to others too.

音乐、电影和书籍
Books:
Into the Wild
The alchemist
Hobbit
Lord of the Rings
I am also currently reading all the harry potter books as I failed to do so when I was a teenager
I will do the letterboxed interview style for movies(aka 4 fav movies):
Into the wild (I know I mention it a lot, but it generally changed my life in an amazing way)
La La Land
Lord of the rings trilogy
A comfort movie of choice, which is currently Good Will Hunting
Music:
When it comes to music it is my absolute life and I appreciate it in all forms. From live music at a concert, buskers on the street, a tiny jazz bar, big festivals, or piano concerts at a castle(this one is specific haha). I love music so so much and listen to loads of different artists and genres.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
That’s a tough one, because honestly it’s hard to pick just a single “amazing thing.”
There have been quite a few moments that stand out, celebrating Carnaval in Brazil, hitchhiking through Morocco, skydiving in New Zealand, road tripping in a van through Switzerland and the Dolomites, getting my scuba diving license in Thailand, or doing a motorbike trip through Vietnam.
But if I’m being real, the most amazing part about all of it was never just the places or the activities, it was the people I shared those experiences with. Those are the moments that actually stayed with me.
教,学,和分享
I can teach you a few things in the kitchen, I love cooking and always enjoy making meals together, especially if we mix different cuisines. I can also show you some basics on guitar (nothing too advanced though haha), and I’m always up for sharing travel tips, backpacking stories, or how to travel light and spontaneous.
I’d love to learn pretty much anything, especially local food, new recipes, bits of your language, or just how life is wherever you’re from. I’m always curious about different perspectives and ways of living.
Happy to share good conversations, music, food (always!), and some stories from the road. And if you're up for it, maybe a little adventure too.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
I can share good company, easygoing vibes, and a genuine interest in getting to know you and your world.
I’m always happy to cook a meal, swap travel stories, or just hang out and chat about life. If you’re into it, we can play some music, have a few drinks, or go explore something nearby together.
I’m also very respectful of your space and routine, I know everyone has their own life going on, so I’m just as comfortable doing my own thing as I am spending time together.
Mostly, I’d just like to share a bit of my journey and be part of yours for a moment.
