Hi, I'm Hendrik from Germany. I enjoy being in an international environment and meeting new people! Throughout the years, I've traveled to 34 countries, mostly in Europe. Examples outside Europe include Canada, USA, China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa and Jordan.

I have lived in South Africa for 3 months as part of sports volunteering program and in the US for 4 months during a term abroad. My goal is to live abroad for several years in the future, hopefully through a corporate opportunity.

My hobbies include swimming, cycling, bouldering and studying Mandarin Chinese. 明年我想考HSK5考试. My proficiency is already decent enough to hold small talk with native speakers (if they slow down their speaking speed).

Generally I'm a friendly and polite person who respects other cultures while taking an interest in them. Furthermore, I'm curious and eager to learn about virtually anything!

I'd love to speak as much English as possible, because I still have room to improve my language skills. Moreover I'm really curious about food in foreign countries, which means you could show me how you cook and I could taste it :D

* Additionally I can talk a lot about sports, especially field hockey, which I'm playing since I'm 5 years old.
