I just graduated from the german "highschool" and I don't want to study yet so I am taking my time right now for travelling and doing the things I always wanted to do... My kind-of gap year started in august '16 and I am about to travel through latin-america with my backpack and a big smile on my face😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing mainly because I am on a budget and the other thing is that I like to experience how it is to actually live together with some locals and learn their about their habits and traditions:)

Interests

I like to explore cities, especially to discover places that are truly worth it and not to touristic.
Also one of my favourite things to do is to go for a hike or to spend the day outside with a nice dinner in the evening and a good conversation with some drinks:)
Day-trips to interesting places are also things I like to do and spontaneous stuff, whatever that might be...
oh and of course I always like to go to the cinema 😁
Another thing I am really into is cycling so I am always down for exploring the city or the nature on bikes.
And I noticed that I like to help out on farms too, quite unusual but maybe worth to be mentioned😂

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say I mainly listen to mainstream music but one of my favorite artists are Muse, Daftpunk, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, Sam Smith, Mumford and Sons, Madonna, Sia, Troye Sivan, Lady Gaga, Blackbear and some unknown german artists...
To much to list I guess.. oh and when I read (what is not that often, but I really should!) I like good fantasy novels.
movies: hmm I like action but a good thriller is also good
and some of my favourite movies are "into the wild", "up", "the great gatsby", "inception and of course everything directed by Peter Jackson or Quentin Tarantino

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

volunteering in Namibia and protecting elephants was really amazing and south-africa (I was in capetown) was totally amazing, I instantly fell in love with that city and I consider to study there later maybe ... Diving with the great whites was amazing as well and in general I liked the people and animals that are so different compared to the "normal" german ones I know.
Hiking the rainbow mountain in Peru was also one of the most exhausting things I've ever done but it was so worth it!
And not to forget Macchu Pichu, never seen such amazing ruins in these high mountains.

I don't know what to write here but I guess I can tell you something about germany or the other places I visited
and if you interested I can teach you how to curse in German 😂

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have that much money but I think it should be enough for a dinner or breakfast and some good talks:-) oh and I really like cooking so I could offer my help with kitchen stuff
