I was born and grew up in Hamburg, northern Germany, finished school in 2011, took two gap years working and travelling. Moved to Riga for med school in September 13.
Now I'm half way through studies and taking a small break for again some travelling an internships.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
first saw it as an option to crash a couch if I wouldn't find a hostel one day. But then I got the idea what couchsurfing is actually about and experienced a new way of traveling. haven´t stayed in any hostel for the rest of my trip, 3 months through the States and Canada.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
What I like about couchsurfing are the stories and experience that the members share with each other. Its like a passive constant learning process going on here.
Apart from that I can probably teach you a bit of stuff about sailing and sailboats. If the weather is alright and you're visiting me in Hamburg, we might be able to actually go sailing for a short trip.
Also I'm kind of into photograpphy (an amateur though) but if you wanna learn about how to manually use exposure time and aperture, I can maybe help you.
