I’m a photographer/artist from Copenhagen, Denmark currently visiting China for the first time. I want to learn about Chinese culture and especially Chinese visual culture in order to get some visual inspiration for my art. I’ve had some amazing days in Beijing and now moving on to Shanghai and afterwards Xi’an. I’m also trying to learn a bit of Chinese while I’m here, so love the idea of staying with local Chinese people (have met some amazing local people in Beijing so far) China you are amazing!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Went to Argentina on exchange when I was 16 and learned that if you wanna get to know the culture you must stay with local people! I think it’s much more giving than just staying with yourself at a boring hotel 😄 After meeting so many local people here in Beijing I talked with my danish roommate who recommended me to try out Couchsurfing - here I am!

Bonus: I’m an artist, but in Denmark I also study medicine - so I’m very interested in both science and art!
