About Me

I’m danish, easy-going and open minded. I love travelling, being outdoors and connecting with people. I would describe myself as a creative person with a somewhat chaotic energy, who - despite always being on the lookout for new adventures - do enjoy a cozy evening as well.

I’m studying law in Copenhagen, where I lived in an international dorm with lots of great friends for 4 years.

I was born and raised in Denmark, but I consider many places my home, one of which is in Australia where I lived for 1,5 year. I try to take every chance I get to get out and explore different parts of the world and meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Can’t think of a better way to experience the local culture than to get to share a home with locals. The connections you make with people while traveling can be so special, and meeting someone who really knows the place I’m traveling is a privilege.

This is what I want to give as a host as well.

On my travels in Australia, living with families was a great way to be introduced to the Aussie way of living and the cultural exchange brought much joy to me as well as the families. From my two stays through Couchsurfing, I can already say that Couchsurfing can bring the same good experiences.

Interests

- surfing
- dancing
- hiking
- climbing
- yoga

Are all some of the things I enjoy. I’m always up for trying new things though.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music means a great deal to me, and I love the experiences you get when going to concerts and festivals. My taste is very broad (mostly dependent on mood), so there are only few genres that I don’t enjoy.

I only watch movies with other people, so it’s not a lot that I watch - yet somehow I’ve still managed to watch movies like the intouchables and good will hunting more times than I can count, so I guess you can say those are some of my favorite ones to watch.

I do enjoy a good book as well, but lately I’ve been spending more time listening to podcasts and audiobooks. Going for a walk in nature while listening, has been a great way to learn about everything from different philosophies to how the human mind works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in rural Australia, mustering cattle on horseback, which (to put it mildly) was far from my usual lifestyle in Copenhagen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to share any Danish ways of living, recommendations for a trip to Denmark or show you around. It’s a small, but special country. If interested, I could help teach danish as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Want to go on an adventure, surfing or dancing? You can count on me!

Would be happy to cook, share good stories and become the friend you have yet to meet. Exchanging views on life/meaningful conversations can be so special as well.

Opening your home is a lovely gesture and I will try to pay back by a humble approach, friendly mindset and help out.
