About Me
Hi Couchsurfing community :)
I’m Henni, a 24-year-old girl from Germany with a passion for exploring the world and connecting with people from all over the world. So far, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit over 60 countries, and each journey has taught me something new about the beauty and diversity of our planet.
I’m also a student and an avid photographer. Capturing the essence of a place through my lens – whether it’s a vibrant market, a breathtaking landscape, or the smile of a local – is one of my favorite ways to remember and share my adventures.
I’m easygoing, respectful, and always eager to help out and immerse myself in the local culture. I love learning about new perspectives, trying local food, and having meaningful conversations. Whether it’s swapping travel stories or exploring hidden gems, I’m always up for an adventure or a quiet evening.
Looking forward to meeting you and making this world feel a little smaller, one conversation at a time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to experience places beyond the typical tourist path. For me, traveling is about connecting with locals, learning about their culture, and creating unique memories I wouldn’t have otherwise.
As a student traveling on a budget, Couchsurfing allows me to explore the world authentically while meeting incredible people along the way. Some of my most unforgettable moments have come from staying with locals, and I’m excited to keep building those connections.
I think it's a great opportunity to get in touch with local people and experience the country in a special way.
Interests
I love travelling, exploring. I'm into photography, sports and meeting people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling has given me so many amazing memories, but here are a few that stand out:
Exploring Antarctica was an unforgettable experience – the pristine landscapes and unique wildlife were unlike anything I’d seen before. In Guatemala, hiking Acatenango and watching the volcano erupt was both surreal and humbling. And in Nepal, trekking through the Annapurna region was a beautiful mix of stunning scenery and cultural encounters that I’ll always cherish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love connecting with people and would be happy to share stories from my travels to over 60 countries – whether it’s funny mishaps, cultural insights, or tips for places you’re curious about.
Photography is a big passion of mine, so I’d be glad to share some tips or even take some photos for you. If you enjoy cooking, I’d love to prepare a simple dish inspired by my travels or learn to make one of your favorite local meals together.
More than anything, I bring an open mind, good energy, and a genuine interest in getting to know you. Whether we share a walk, a conversation, or a quiet moment, I hope to create a positive and memorable experience for both of us!
