CURRENT MISSION

To really get to know a lot more people and places (and their stories) while I still can; And, of course, learn something new each day and make friends.

ABOUT ME

I'm single, with no children, which still gives me the liberty to travel around (and I intend to do this more often from now on);

I'm quite well educated, respectful and disciplined; I have completed one college degree (Architecture) with one post-graduate course (on Construction Materials) and I failed to complete another one in I.T. due to some personal problems.

I'm very proficient in English and, of course, Portuguese, and I also speak a bit of French;

I'm very easy-going and I have a very open mind; If I was born 10 years earlier, I probably would have been a 'hippie'. :)

I love music! I'm not talented enough to play any instrument or sing, but I've always enjoyed listening to music in all kinds of situations and discovering new songs and artists that I didn't know about. I have a vast collection of music that started at a very young age.

My other passion is Sports; For many years, I actively trained and practiced Triathlon on an amateur level; In recent years I've been 'settling down' and just swimming (for practice, not time) and mountain biking (for leisure); I also love watching all kinds of sports both live and on TV.

Ultimately, I am a really nice guy; I love meeting new people, but I am a bit shy; Hopefully, Couchsurfing will help me make new friends on some of my future journeys; I bet you won't regret meeting me... ;)

The only point to living life is building personal relationships; Those are the only moments that count.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My most memorable "CouchSurfing Experience" is when I was on the Support Team for one very good friend participating in one "EcoChallenge" type Race and the car broke down in a very isolated place that seemed to be 'in the middle of nowhere'; I had to walk quite a few miles to find a house with a family living in it; They tried to help me and offered me everything they had; It's absolutely true what is said that the most simple people in the world are in fact the most hospitable; It was an unforgettable experience.
