I am Henri!
In order of scale, I am:
- a lover of the outside (trekking, gardening, orientation with the sun, bathing in rivers or simply doing nothing, but outside!),
- a lover of the nature (wild places, especially with lots of vegetation and water, eadible and medical plants),
- a lover of the culture (languages, cultures, alphabets, my and your country's history) and
- a lover of the humans (I seek to be surrounded by heart-opened people, whether dreamers or hard workers; I love discovering what makes us different and similar, what thrives us, how do we understand our word, or simply how do we simply enjoy each other's company without thinking too mutch:) )

My (far too long and boring) scientific studies and jobs gave me a very rationnal side, strongly tempered with enriching emotionnal experiences, where the feeling prevails, like working my summers with foster children, living and heping in a Brazilian favela for a year, meeting strange, nice, frightening, inspiring people, loving and mourning around the world...

It made me as I am: pragmatical, and with the feets sometimes leaving the ground because a head filled with dreams; able to cry my eyes out because of a rousing song, and able to feel irrationnal happiness in thousand small things.

I love hosting and bening hosted obviously to meet new people and ways of thinking (and cooking!), but above all because I feel a deep thrill at the idea of meeting new persons ! Will it be a mere encounter ? Or another cornerstone human meeting in our respective lightening-like zigzags across life ?

About some hobbies... Beyond what I wrote above :
- I love doing sport to feel good in my body, and to find it fit and beautiful for life.
- I do not really like meditating or streching or working day after day on my personal development, but it does me so well I do not dare stopping (and I fear reprisal from my body or my brain would I dare not mensioning it in my hobbies ^^)
- I love eating, cooking, discovering new things to eat and new ways to cook it
- I love feeling useful for people I care for. I love making people happy, by hearing them, talking or being quiet, teaching them or give them room to explain things, massaging, feeding, hosting...
