I am a young drummer/bassist living in the west suburbs of Chicago. I perform in an indie duo called Swellshark with my girlfriend of four years, Shelan. I am currently enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago where I major in mechanical engineering, but my studies are on hold so I can travel and pursue a career in music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Recently, my girlfriend and I decided to travel together around the United States to play shows and scout out new, exciting places. We both grew up in and around Chicago. We love Chicago, but we feel it might be time to experience life in a new city. So, after taking a little time off from school, we put together a road trip/tour route where we travel through most of the major cities in the US to play music and get a sense of the pace of life.
