About Me

I am involved in various different projects. I do marketing full time on my own, volunteer with several veteran organizations (I’m a Marine Veteran), and host networking events. I don't watch TV often, but I do have one and when a show comes out, anything Marvel or super hero-y, then it's binge time. :)

When I travel, I am a big explorer, especially if it's in a city I have never been before.

I am very interested in bettering myself in all areas of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After hosting my first guest from the UK. I was hooked! His experiences and stories just made it seem like you were there with him. In Las Vegas, I went to an event and met so many great people. I stayed on a couch in Oceanside with an individual who had a recording studio in his backyard. I love my experiences and they can never be sold, traded in, or trashed. People are awesome!

You can always learn at least one thing from everybody you meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the Skydiver Solo course and learned how to pilot my own chute. Which I did pilot my own chute. It was the most exhilarating experience of my life. I'm glad I didn't die. That pull though... probably the most anxious I've ever been... EVER!

I remember camping out at Yosemite, climbing up the dry waterfall and sat up in the middle of the cliff looking out into the horizon waiting for the sunset (or sunrise). It was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although not a great cook, I do know a bit around the kitchen, my friends say I'm a good cook. Maybe they're just being nice, maybe not. Who knows?

I am a firm believer you can always learn at least one thing from everybody you meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a passion for culture, life, and food. I love to travel and been to many different cities in many different countries. I can share my experiences, my love of food, and my friendship.

If there's time, I can certainly make my most famous Won-Ton Noodle Soup.
