ABOUT ME

i am 55 years old but i am often kindly told that i look younger.i spend most of my time with my wife and certainly plan to take her along to see the world before we get too old. we live in kaohsiung taiwan. we have a room in our house which was for our daughter but she kind of gave it up because she moved to work in taipei. so there is an empty room which my wife and i would like to share with travelers from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

i am a shy conservative person.
i tell myself that i have to empty myself to learn more.
i feel that making friends especially those from different cultures is fun.
i believe that it is more happy to give than to take.

i wish i had stories to tell but so far i have never had any couchsurfing experiences.

兴趣

i play guitar but not very well. i like singing, playing go game(chinese chess with black and white chess pieces), reading,and of course traveling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i live in taiwan where there's no snow, the most amazing thing that i have seen is how the trees on the campus in a naval training base in chicago became yellow and not long after that took all the leaves off to welcome the on-coming snow. i was truly amazed.

i don't have things worthy of learning. i am just an ordinary person. i am chinese and i like reading history, and i probably know taiwan and kaohsiung better than those from other countries. maybe these are what i can share.
