Update: I recently moved to Schiedam, which is really close to Rotterdam. 4 minutes by train or 10 minutes by metro. Around 15 minutes by bike. So basically it is IN Rotterdam.
Personally I think Schiedam is better than Rotterdam 🙂

Dutchman, living the good life in Rotterdam. One of the (too) many people who love to explore our beautiful and fascinating planet named Earth. What else? I love cheese, pizza, wine and water. I’m curious and can still be so surprised about humanity, nature, universe. And still so many mysteries in life that will never be uncovered..
I love sun in winter and shade in summer. I get bored soon at the beach. I don’t smoke and don’t like smoke (please smoke outside if you want to smoke). I love life but am concerned about the devastation of nature by the human kind. I try to live sustainable by abstaining from meat&fish, from driving a car, and from (frequent) flying. Trying to fly less is the most difficult as I love travelling. But train travel is fantastic too, I found out.

I like the couchsurfing concept more and more. I prefer hosting one person at a time and also prefer to stay with one person. I’m quite calm at this stage in my life and not so much of a party animal anymore haha. Maybe you can seduce me to go out again and have a fun night in town. It just takes one or two beers to get me in the mood.

Like most people here: I like travelling and meeting people. Unfortunately I have quite a busy job and in the weekends I am often away, therefore I can't host often. But don't let this hold you back from sending a request :)
