Overview
About Me
I'm a nomadic Kiwi who spends a lot of time on the road. I've lived and worked in a lot of places around the world, but currently call Wellington, NZ home.
At the moment, I do a podcast called Micromobility and invest/advise in companies around the world trying to accelerate the transition to electric, lightweight vehicles. Before this, I used to work at Uber in Australia/NZ, and before that built factories in the Middle East.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer spending time with locals and meeting interesting people doing interesting things when I'm on the road. If I am not going to be a good guest, I'll just grab an AirBNB, so if I'm asking to stay it's because I think you look really interesting, and am keen to learn more about you.
Interests
I care deeply about helping decarbonise our transport sector, and so spend a lot of my time and energy on this.
- electric bikes
- electric cars
