About Me

I want to buy a house with a white picket fence and to live in the same place for 40-50 years until I die of old age. JUST KIDDING! I would venture to guess that I am much like most people on this site. I love seeing new places and meeting new and interesting people. I have a passion for learning and experiencing life to the fullest. I believe in living a life that you are drawn to do even if that means living outside of the social norm. I believe that the most important things in life are family, friends and life experiences. Oh and I am a vegetarian so if you hate people that don't eat meat you might want to skip this profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to live in a way that lets me travel and meet real local people in the places that I travel. Couchsurfing is an amazing way of doing just that. I know so many people that say they have traveled to exciting places but when you really start asking you find out that they just went to a bunch of tourist places. Well that might be okay some of the time that is not my main aim in traveling. I want to truly experience the culture and people of the places I visit. I can’t think of a better way of doing that then using Couchsurfing.

Travailing (I know a big surprise), meditation, reading, learning, philosophy, movies, martial arts, programming and last but not least new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music.

Some of my favorite movies are The Shift, Whiplash, Life Is Beautiful, The Last Samurai, The Pursuit of Happiness and The Fountain.

Some of my favorite books are Walden, Vagabonding, The 4-Hour Workweek, The Tao Te Ching, and just about anything by Wayne Dyer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born. Seriously, it is a miracle that any of us are here.

Teach, Learn, Share

All of us have something to teach, learn and share. Usually the best way to do that is to just be yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My friendship. What better gift is there then the gift of good friends? One of the biggest reasons I am on this site is to meet new and interesting people that are interested in the same thing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Guatemala, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
