ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Klara, a German small town girl, who spent the past year living in London. Going abroad and living a completely different life from the one I was used to was a great experience I don't want to miss it!

I would describe myself as a creative and open minded person who is interested in other people and getting to know them. I'm very honest and I don't lose my composure easily. I'm more a doer than a talker which sometimes makes me run into situations too quickly. On the other hand I'm not good at making decisions and prefer being spontaneous. I'm not much of a loner, I prefer having people around me. Listening to their stories but also sharing things about myself. Things you definitely will never bore me with are board games, art, literature and movies and tv shows!

When visiting a new place I'm always interested in the parts which people who live there like about it. I'm not much of a tourist person.

In case I can't host anyone right now message me anyway! I'm always interested in showing people around or having a coffee! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in honesty, endurance and friendship.

Life is mean and unpredictable, you never know what happens tomorrow and things can change in just a second. This sounds so cliché, but i truly believe that the best thing you can do is live the moment, enjoy your life (and yourself!) and act as if the things around you are the last you'll ever see. So don't let life bring you down. As bad as it is, at least you're alive!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I don't have many couchsurfing experience in terms of surfing or hosting. I just met the hosts of others or met people through couchsurfing events. I'd love to do more surfing and traveling but as well hosting!

兴趣

I'm in love with books and have a huge problem with buying them and finding space for them in my bookshelves. Nearly everywhere I go I take a book with me. Doesn't matter if it's meeting a friend for ice cream or going out to a pub. Not that I'm reading all the time, it's just the feeling of having a book with me I like.

Also I loooove a good movie or tv show. If it clicks and I fall in love with the story you won't get me away from the tv.

Besides that I love food! Especially trying out new things from different countries. I can cook but since I'm a very chaotic person it always turns into a huuuge mess.

As I said above I'm a doer. I meant it more in a way of not overtalk something but just start doing it. But also in other terms this kind of fits to my personality. I love dong things with my hands. Building something, writing, drawing, I just love the experience, the process which get for me much more intense as soon as I can involve myself by doing something. You know what I mean?! It's kind of hart to put in words :D
I love thinking about stuff and then realize it. For example I made a bookshelf out of books and still think of how to solve the problem of having many shoes but no place to put them.
