About Me

Love to meet new people across cities and countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, it was my friend who introduced me to this app because I always said this to him "Ah I'm bored with my current environment, I've come to the point where I found my life was just so so, I'm so craving to meet new people, I want to see new things, I want to make friends with people who are not from this city, too many close-minded people in here. I need new positive vibes around me! I need new experiences!". And based on that, he told me to download this app, I tried it and I met some couchsurfers in an event that CS in Padang area held. At that moment, I got some wake up call, like "I can't believe these kind of people exist! I mean, where have you guys been all this time? I'm always looking for you all!" So lucky I got the opportunity to meet them all! Nice first impression 😊 I kinda enjoy using this app. Because I can find the like-minded people here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I took a job training in one of national television station in Jakarta for a month and half. During that time, I got the placement in investigation news program. I, who have never faced any criminal or social deviation in my real life, had to jump in that field. It was scary yet amazing experience for me. Got the chance to do interview with various sources like the Police Public Relations officer (whom I used to only can see him at the television but I finally met him face to face!), then made an appointment with one source from a disorientation sexual community (which is not a common in Indonesia) to get the information that we needed, we asked her to bring us to their community's meeting point silently, yea we were using a spy camera and sorta. I saw a different side of nightlife when I did the investigation. That kind of experience made me want to understand people more. How is their life, what makes them so tough, how they overcome their sorrow. It opened my eyes to new windows of life.
