ABOUT ME

I work as a scientist at an ornithological institute, and study how and why bird species survive or go extinct all over the world. Ultimately the goal of my work (or existence) is to avoid that species go extinct. I worked with partners in 20 different countries, so I have gotten around a fair bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel frequently and have spent many nights under bridges, in roadside ditches or other unusual places. I know what it's like to look for a place to stay, and host people whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several travelers while I was living in Alaska, Scotland, and Switzerland, and sent countless messages to people who wanted to explore the great outdoors. It's all been good, and I applaud the inventors of this network - it is fantastic!

Now I live in Switzerland where accommodation is crazy expensive, so if anyone wants to stay with me please get in touch.

I am happy to help people experience what they want - but if you don't know what you want I can't help you...
