ABOUT ME

Who would not say about himself: "I am a easy going person."
Most time I feel as a easy going, optimistic, uncomplicated, down to earth, sensitiv human. Most time my friends say it also.
But also sometimes I can not understand myself. Then I am the most complicated creature of the milky-way.
But so or so, more often than not I am friendly, helpful and glad to get to know people and see life.
So I would like to invite you, to even see.
*** And here the absolutly new information: My girl friend and me are married now and Antje is just like me very interested to host friendly guests or to become acquainted with other people.

PHILOSOPHY

To live with other people is existential. But to live with myself at first is more important.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started with the hospitalityclub in 2006 and I had some very friendly visitings and contacts. So I found the CS. Feel free to have a look at my HC-profile.

Interests

To sit at a nice place in a nice town with a cup of coffee, best with a sunshine on my head and with a look at the 1000 differently people.

To travel with Uli. (Uli is my little caravan VW Buli)

To play DOKO. DOKO is a abbreviation from Doppelkopf (doublehead), a typical german card-game.

To play boule, petanque. Best with sunshine and good friends at a nice place.

A little bit juggling.

To ride with my recumbent bike.

And after boule, juggling and recumbent riding of course, to sit at a nice place, with ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Infrequently I look films. At home I live without TV. Sometimes I look a film at the cinema. The film I like very well is named "2001: A Space Odyssee" from, Stanly Kubrick (1968).

I like the theatre and public readings.

In the moment I'm enthalled from the book "Der Drachenläuer" (The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini), so last night I found only a few hours to sleep.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I don't know, what I'm able to teach. It depends. Let's have a look.
Learn:
My english is very small, specially my speaking-english is'nt good. When I write in english, I have a dictionary on my knees. So I'm glad, when I get a letter or an email to improve my english laguage.

Share:
I like to share a bottle of red wine with you.
(Dont't be afraid, I drink alkohol moderately)
Also gladly I share a part of my time with you.
