About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On the search for the wild chicken. So far the elusive feral fowl has led me through southeast Asia, up to Finland and through Central Europe. Its crowing still haunts me...
ABOUT ME
Ah, Im 33 and hell-bent on getting outside of my comfort space in the world. This means getting out of Australia, my homeland and seeing what else is out there. I like a drink and a laugh, walks on the beach and, oh, wait, wrong kind of profile. I miss my bike and my guitar but Ill be reunited with both soon. If anyone would like to question my lack of apostrophes (Im a subeditor at a paper), Im on a Croatian keyboard. Cheers
PHILOSOPHY
Ah, work in progress. (Both myself and my personal philosophy)

Music, Movies, and Books
Saw Shellac in Prague a week ago and have had to redefine all my musical preferences and experiences. I dig most stuff written by Don DeLillo, Kurt Vonnegut and Jonathan Franzen. Goodfellas and the Big Lewbowski are still my favourite movies (the dude abides).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a 15-year-old skater I accidentally pulled off a one-footed ollie two years before seeing the trick done on skate videos. Gnar!
Teach, Learn, Share
Um, I think Heisenbergs theory of uncertainty could be something that people could apply to most of their experiences. Basically, the idea that the closer we look at things, the more we change the outcome of our observations. Heisenberg basically found this out the hard way, by using lights to track the path of particles at subatomic levels. Unfortunately, the energy provided by said lights influenced the path of said particles, obscuring his idea of how they really worked. I guess the lesson is to try not to influence the outcome of your own observations with your own preconcieved perceptions. That way, you open yourself up to new stuff. When possible.
