About Me
Hey!
I am a youth instructor, woodworking entrepreneur, and marketing specialist. My week is split between working in my woodshop—where I recycle old skateboards into furniture and other items—and working as a youth instructor, teaching both kids and adults how to skateboard. I can truly say I love my job! Even with its challenges, I’m so grateful to be making a living from my passion.
I have a cat, Bruce, who is quite friendly and gets along with just about anyone! He’s the loveliest 🥹 (He might occasionally jump on you while you’re sleeping, but not in a mean way!) :>
I’ve been skateboarding for over 17 years, and it has been a huge part of my life. Through skating, I’ve met wonderful people and traveled to places that have broadened my perspective on life. Life is so precious and beautiful! :) ✨
I recently started climbing, and I really enjoy it! I’ve been focusing on lead climbing—the adrenaline rush is one of the best feelings, second only to skating! 🧗🏻
I also love cooking! Some of my favorite dishes to make are pasta, salad, stir-fry, soup, and pizza. I’m always eager to learn more. :)
For guests, I have a super comfortable sofa that I sometimes sleep on myself. (As long as you don’t mind Bruce sleeping next to you!) ;) Being a Helsinki local, I’d be happy to give you tips on where to visit and share my insights about the city.
I’d love to meet wonderful people and learn from their experiences through Couchsurfing! I value transparency and honesty the most and hope we can communicate openly. :) 💫

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that each city has some qualities that only locals that lived there could grasp those , like there always some places that even the best tour guide can't show you tho locals can . Besides , for understanding a new culture I think you should be some part of it which locals are the best. Plus , this is a great chance to make new friends in a strange land.
Interests
In my spare time I read books and I like watching movies and series . I skate if I have a free day or go climbing. I go ice dipping sometimes in the lake near my place !
I also enjoy spending time with my friends, sometimes having drinks at a bar or go dancing in a club if it’s good music :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I have recently been reading few books,
Moomin trolls are my favorite easy to go funny eccentric :) I also love Hans Christian Anderson’s stories, he’s a fantastic writer..I have been reading this book called “ The cultural politics of emotions” which has been very interesting. I love learning about emotions and psychology. Please recommend any if you know :) My favorite book of all time is “the Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.
I like watching movies, and also cartoons! I can watch any genre if it’s fun :) I’ve seen Breaking Bad, GOT, Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Love Death Robots.
Depending on the time of the day, I could be listening to something quite different. The genre I like are indie rock, psychedelic rock, dreamy pop, pop, classical music, Persian 70s pop.
I also listen to an English rock band The smiths , American rock band Allah Las and I'd love to listen to Movie theme songs and post rock music as well. I also listen to classical Persian music like Banan, and also psychodelic rock Kourosh Yaghmaie
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started a company where I recycle old skateboards and make furniture:)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn new things from people which makes it much easier for me to interact with people and find new friends which I love the most.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences in cooking if they are interested in cooking good food :) I also make great cafe lattes :P
