ABOUT ME

Ciao! I am a recent college graduate who always yearns to know more about life and culture, thus the reason I have returned to Firenze, the city of love, art and great wine. I love to write and would like nothing more than to be a travel writer, interacting with people on a daily basis and making friends everywhere I go. I always seem to have a new goal or ambition in mind, but to me, being busy is a sign of growth and I always enjoy working hard to see a successful finished product. I know I can do anything in life and I plan to take full advantage of every possibility that comes my way. I may be young, but I know that the decisions I make now will come to shape me forever. Therefore, I want to grasp every experience possible, so as to be the most well-rounded person I can be.
I like to think I'm good for conversation and can deliver a wicked story when asked. I enjoy cooking, being around people and trying new things (although, it may take some coaxing with new food!). I love dogs and enjoy randomly speaking in dialects/accents (due to a class I took).
Laughing is a key element in everything I do and hilarity in anything is inevitable. I love drinking all sorts of tea and also enjoy hiking and bike riding. My friends say I am loud at times, but they wouldn't trade that for how funny and sentimental I really am. My favorite holiday is Halloween and color? Well, of course that's green.

PHILOSOPHY

At the risk of sounding cliche, life should truly be lived as if every day were one's last. But, besides that, get out there and stop complaining, life is full of surprises and people shouldn't waste a moment sitting around just talking about it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this idea, but after reading some of the experiences of other people (and surfing for the first time in Dublin) the concept sounds thrilling; definitely something I want to continue being a part of.

I am reading like a crazy man these days! Finishing Revolutionary Road as I type this. A book by Richard Yates the text seems all too appropriate given my current life-situation, which includes trying to find substance from routine.

This is hard to fill in, because people are defined by many experiences in life. But I did enjoy the 2009 inauguration, where I went as a reporter and climbing the Eiffel Tower, by FOOT! No elevators here.
